Britney Spears won't be starring in the new Pussycat Dolls video, as it appears the singer has been axed from the final edit.
As we reported last week, Spears was asked to appear in the promo for new single 'When I Grow Up' and then filmed her segment in Los Angeles.
A source tells Usmagazine.com of her appearance: "They all wave at each other as they are passing in traffic - that is it. Of course, Britney looks hot and blonde."
"It is a very short sequence, but (Spears) had a lot of fun with it. Britney really likes the Dolls' music and when she saw them on the MTV (Movie Awards), she was totally down to do the video."
But it has now emerged that Britney's role has been snipped from the final version - no official reason has been given.
